SUZANNE FIELDEN

Suzanne is an entrepreneur and co-founded, with her husband Dominic, the award winning family restaurant Rocky Mountain Flatbread.  At the same time they founded EarthBites Society.  EarthBites was created to connect kids with their food.

Through leading a diverse & amazing team with backgrounds in urban agriculture, nutrition & entrepreneurship the EarthBites Team are busy designing school gardens, workshops & school garden program which connect students in innovative ways with their food!

BRENDAN YOUNG

Brendan is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist & experienced in urban growing – working on his Uncle’s Farm & at the Vancouver Farmer’s Market.

Brendan  has worked as a lead EarthBites for the last 10 years.  You can find him busy designing & building school garden infrastructure projects, leading engaging workshops with students & teachers in person & on-line.

Allison EB

ALLISON BARNES

Allison has been an active gardener all her life and has been involved with school gardens in various capacities for the last 9 years.  

She has formal horticultural training, experience as a landscaper and in retail nurseries, and is an active member of the Vancouver Master Gardeners Association volunteering on community projects, and completing many hours of education each year.  

Allison has hands-on classroom experience as a long time volunteer with Growing Chefs and was parent garden coordinator at a local elementary school for several years. Allison joined Earthbites as a facilitator in 2019

KRISTA LEVESQUE

Krista is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and has a certificate in Permaculture Design.  She has experience in urban organic food growing, and growing & using native plants and herbs for food and skin care. As a Holistic Nutritionist, she helps families make sound food and lifestyle choices. Krista has been working as a facilitator with EarthBites since 2014; and as Program Manager since 2016. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of food growing and healthy eating with families in all of her school communities.

LORI GREYELL

Lori is a master organic gardener who leads several community gardens in Port Moody.

She is thrilled to be an EarthBites Facilitator and loves playing a role in shaping young gardeners and environmental stewards in her workshops.
