ABOUT US
WHAT WE DO
EarthBites empowers and connects youth, families and communities with their food and eco-systems. We develop garden infrastructure adaptive to climate change, enabling gardens to grow more food with fewer resources. Our gardens highlight pollinators and plants native to the area.
Our seasonal nutrition and garden workshops, and student-led garden markets, bring families together to share food and build community.
WHO WE WORK WITH
Since 2006, EarthBites has been at the forefront of community collaboration, fostering meaningful partnerships and nurturing growth.
Our journey includes a 14-year alliance with VSB schools, creating school gardens and programming to enrich outdoor land based learning in over 10 schools in the lower mainland. In 2022, we expanded our reach by teaming up with the BC Francophone School Board and launching French language programs throughout British Columbia.
Over the last two years we are honoured to partner with Tseil-Waututh Nation Health Department and Members to further develop their community garden infra-structure and land based healing programs to realize their food sovereignty vision and strategy.
WHO WE ARE
Our team includes diverse expertise in permaculture, urban farming, landscaping, entrepreurship, holistic nutrition, and indigenous teachings.
