EARTHBITES
LEARN . GROW . EAT
ABOUT EARTHBITES
The EarthBites Team support the development & management of school & community gardens and facilitate engaging workshops where teachers and students learn how to grow and eat with the seasons.
Our programs allow students, teachers & parents to explore how to:
Grow and harvest spring, summer and fall vegetables, fruits and herbs
Forage edible plants to create teas, salads, salves and soaps
Create seasonal nutritional snacks featuring produce from the school garden
Lead seasonal school markets selling produce from the garden, nutritious garden snacks & garden crafts.
The Earthbites team can support you in creating a productive school garden that connects students with their food.
PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
Annual partnership program where our facilitators visit your school or community garden once a week to maintain the garden & deliver seasonal workshops.
WORKSHOPS
Seasonal workshops focussed on growing & foraging foods and creating nutritious snacks in your school or community garden.
GARDEN DEVELOPMENT
The Earthbites team can work with you to design your school or community garden space so it is fully productive to grow food & be an outdoor learning space.
